Most every infection can be shared by men and women. There is no infection that is distinct to male or females. Even the yeast infection. That’s right, the yeast infection can be contracted by males and females. The yeast infection is contracted through a variety of ways , but it always enters the body in the same fashion; through the urethra. This area of the body must not only be properly washed daily, but must be surrounded with the correct surroundings. Along with the clothing you wear, it is suggested to implement certain food items in your diet. Such as, yogurt, garlic, or cranberry juice. No matter which variety of preventions you choose, they should always remain organic. The body can easily digest organic foods, and begin incorporating the nutrients immediately.

1. Yogurt: Yogurt is plentiful in the bacteria lactobacillus acidophilu. This bacteria enhances your immune system and balances the chemicals in the body. Although non-flavored yogurt does not taste the best, it is recommended to have at least one cup every two days, in order to keep a balanced system.

2. Garlic: Do not worry, it is not recommended to chew raw garlic, but a bit of chopped garlic in a daily meal is. This food product contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which stave off yeast infections.

3. Tea Tree Oil: This prevention is hands down, the most relaxing. Take three drops of tea tree oil, place in a full bath, and relax. Although three drops sounds miniscule, it is an extremely strong anti-septic, which aids in the prevention of yeast infections.

4. Chamomile: The herb of chamomile is a natural dietretic, which enhances the ability to flush all toxins and chemicals through your system. This herb can be supplemented in a tea or in a soup.

5. Cranberries: While cranberry juice is a natural dietretic, your chances at any infections, especially yeast, are severely diminished when digesting the actual berry. The berry itself not only bolsters your immune system, but it actually strengthens your urinary tract.

6. Black Walnut: The best source of protein are from the simple walnuts and almonds at your local grocery store. None of these though, actually gives us as much nutrients as the black walnut. Along with enhancing your immune system, the high amount of protein strengthens your muscular system. The muscular system may seem non existent during a yeast infection, but a strong muscular system can actually aid in the prevention.

7. Foods to Cut Down: It may be easy to add additional items to your grocery list, but the hardest part is cutting back on a few; especially some of the best tasting. Although carbohydrates should be half of your daily intact, it should not be high in yeast. That means all Italian breads, most pastas, and snacks, must be cut down. When you continually add the precise ingredients into your body that you are trying to avoid, it can become a problem.

Humans throughout history have survived through war and natural disasters, but no single entity has stricken man’s existence, quite like infections. Although Malaria, the Swine Flu (H1N1), West Nile Virus, Staph Infection, Lime Disease, Tuberculosis have plagued humans in a variety of ways, each one is an infection. Infections may vary within their attack, but each infection has closely related initial symptoms. All infections normally begin with a fever, inflammation in the esophagus, and a constant cough. Each infection also enters the body in the same fashion; by bacterial or viral organisms entering in through an open orifice (mouth, ears, nose, eyes, a cut or a lesion). While each infection may hold different properties internally, each is categorized under three different types of infections.

1. Internal Bacterial Infections: Bacteria is a single celled microscopic organism. Although bacteria is perceived as a negative organism, it can actually enhance our body. During digestion a humans body will use several thousand bacteria to properly retain nutrients and rid of any waste. When an individual receives a flu shot or vaccination he/she will be injected with just a miniscule amount of that certain bacteria. This practice allows your body to understand and eventually become immune to any similar infections. There are actually millions of bacteria in the world, most of which will not harm any human body. In fact, only one percent will harm any individual. In the event of contracting one of the infectious bacteria, it could potentially make you ill. During the bacteria initial entry into the body, it will release chemicals, called toxins, which can potentially damage internal cells and tissue. In order to properly eliminate a living infectious bacteria, one must retain compous amounts of water, and a daily or, bi-daily antibiotic. The water allows your body to flush out your current toxins, while allowing the antibiotics to fight any remaining infectious bacteria.

2. Viral Infections: Viral infections are composed of microscopic one celled organisms. These organisms are much smaller than bacteria organism. In essence, each organism is built like a microscopic pill. This pill upon entry into your body (normally through an open orifice a mouth, a nose, a ear, or a cut), will split, releasing genetic material inside. Once the pill has opened, it becomes an internal hijacker. Each piece of genetic material will attach itself onto all ready existing genetics. If the infections, morph enough of your genetic material, it will render your body ill, or even death.

3. External Bacterial Infections: There are a very rare grouping of aggressive external bacterial infections. The infections will normally contact your body through a constant irritation or external contact with another infected individual. These infections can range from Impetigo, Erythrasma, or Erysipelas. Each infection if caught at the proper time, can be cured through the constant application of cream. If not, surgery may be necessary.

Although that small cut on your finger may seem minuscule, it is a portal for all bacteria. The most common disease causing bacteria is the Staphylococcus aureus, better known as Staph Infection. This infection can find its way into your body through several different avenues, in several different ways and it is extremely important to deal with it right away. Although most cases of the staph infection are cured, there have been instances of severe illness or even death. You may come in contact with the infection in a locker room at school or at a gym, on the wrestling mats at school, or even on the ground outside.

1. Contaminated objects: This common ground can be nullified through several different proactive actions. Always wash your clothes after every work out, this will rid your clothes of any potential bacteria. If you are active in your high school or college or even local sports team, make sure to rinse down all equipment after using. Bacteria thrives in a warm, unwashed area. And if you participate in hiking, biking, or running. Make sure to wash your shoes and change your socks on a consistent basis. It is a common thing to forget to wash you shoes, but with the amount of bacteria your shoes absorb, it is a must. Now that all the preemptive actions are clear, let’s lay out the ways in which it effects your body. The most contaminated object after sports is your body. The staph infection thrives in extreme temperatures and salt. Each of these can be remedied with a simple post game or post workout shower.

2. Skin-to-skin: Any individual that frequently comes in contact with several individuals should always take the right precautions. This situation occurs normally under the umbrella of sports, but it can happen anywhere. If any individual touches the area of the infected wound, they may retain the infection themselves. If you in fact, have a wound, cut, or abrasion, it must be covered at all times.

3. Roommates: A common occurrence of spreading this infection in individual’s who share a different items while living together. Although generosity may seem tempting, make sure that each roommate has his/her items within the house or apartment. The infection is so strong that if once it is set on an intimate object, it remains till the next individual unknowingly picks it up.

4. Shower: Several people that carry the bacteria for a possible staph infection never actually get it. This anonymous carrier syndrome lulls people into a state of ignorance. Just because you do not have any clear signs of infection, does not mean you are not carrying it. The best possible preemptive action is to shower daily. Each time an individual showers, he/she rids his body of any free form bacteria.

You wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, drive your car to work, walk up the stairs to your office, shake hands with employees, and all the while you have not thought once, about the deadliest item surrounding your day; bacteria. Bacteria is a microscopic organism that floats through the air, lives on intimate objects, and thrives on the scientific make up of your body. Throughout time bacteria has caused infections that have plagued all individuals, but no infection has destroyed the very fabric of our livelihood like the following ten…

1. Anthrax: This disease garnered notoriety through the most recent “war on terror” This bacterial infection releases toxins in the blood stream, while dissecting your immune system. Anthrax has been known to cause severe cases of illness and in several cases, death.

2. Pneumonia: As a bacterial infection, pneumonia is a disease that preys on vulnerable immune systems. If an individual gets pneumonia he/she may fight it off with the proper medicine, but if the individual suffers from a weak immune system is may cause death. Although the symptoms may seem like a severe flu, it is much more serious than that.

3. Legionaries Disease: The bacterial infection of Legionaries Disease, survive in wet environments. The infection will cause symptoms similar to the flu, but if not taken care of early, can cause renal disease.

4. Tuberculosis: Better known as TBC, Tuberculosis, has been around since as long as humankind. One third of individuals carry the bacterial infection, but only a few will suffer from severe shaking, loss in weight, coughing, and bloody expectoration.

5. Gonorrhea: Nowadays, known as an Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) or a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), gonorrhea has been an infection that has plagued several generations of people. This bacterial infection produces reddening in genitalia, inflammation in the genitals, irritation in the urethra in men, and the uterus in women.

6. Syphilis: This bacterial infection is the most severe sexually transmitted disease out of all of them. This disease has been known to lead to lesions, skin eruptions, hair loss, and even death.

7. The Black Plague: Although the most recent generation has not seen the effects of this bacterial infection, it is known as one of the most horrific infections. This infection began with rats, traveling to other animals, then to domestic animals, and eventually to humans wiping out over 100 millions people.

8. Cholera: The bacterial infection of Cholera is transmitted through infected feces. This unnerving infection leads to dehydration and constant diarrhea.

9. Typhoid: Typhoid is a bacterial infection that is represented in contaminated foods and liquids. This contamination can lead to constant headaches, diarrhea, and constipation. This infection must be treated immediately in order to properly fight it. This infection alone has killed 20 million people since 1914.

10. Tetanus: Any open wound, abrasion, or cut is a gateway for tetanus. This infection causes fever, pain, and spasms of the neck and jaw.

All individuals can suffer from a bladder infection, but not everyone knows what to do to cure it. In order to know how to remedy the infection, one must establish the actions that cause a bladder infection. This infection can occur through an inconsistent diet or an over consumption of alcohol. All nutrients are soaked in through the kidneys which then stabilizes the bladder. If the nutrients that are fed into the kidneys are consistently detrimental to your system, your body will respond negatively. Bladder infections can also occur when an individual holds in his/her urine. To remedy this situation, he/she must find a bathroom to eradicate the issue at hand. The infection can also be caused during sexual intercourse and because of this, it is very important to always worry about your partners safety during intercourse. In order to correctly attack this infection, we must highlight the remedies, just in case.

1. Cranberry Juice: Cranberry Juice is a natural diuretic. The juice not only aids your immune system, but creates antibodies to consistently fight of any further infection.

2. Empty Bladder: At any point during the is you feel yourself holding it in, remember that it is one of the leading causes of bladder infections.

3. Drink Water: The recommended amount of water is eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. The right amount of water will wash your system clean; clearing out your system of any germs, bacteria, or potential infections.

4. Body Wash: Doctors now recommend that, body wash is a safer form of cleansing. The irritation of a harsh soap may cause a rash, cut, swelling, or an abrasion giving germs an open runway to your body for bladder infections.

5. Proper Cleansing: Men and women have very distinct ways of cleansing themselves. Along with personal practices, there are also correct ways to cleanse ones body. In order to properly learn the steps consult a physician to lead you through the appropriate steps. Also, if you have children be sure to advise them on the correct way to avoid a bladder infection, through cleansing.

6. Diet: The bladder system has a deep rooted partnership with the kidney system. If you are suffering from a bladder infection, a small change in your diet can cleanse your kidneys. Radish and asparagus are two foods that cleanse out your kidney system aiding any problems with the bladder. Individuals suffering from bladder infections must also cut down on their salt intake. This will allow your body to retain more water, which will in turn cleanse your system better. Most importantly increase your consumption of Vitamin C. This can be ingested organically through oranges, lemons, and guava. If you would rather take Vitamin C pills consult you physician before doing so.

7. Boxer Briefs/Cotton Panties: Avoid tight clothes and pants at all costs. During a bladder infection your body must be able to breathe in order to properly fight infections.

Have you ever taken a urine sample from your dog? Ever take his/her temperature? Monitor his/her urinary habits? Maybe you should, it could mean he state of their kidneys, perhaps even the state of their life. A dog’s kidneys remove waste and absorb nutrients, kind of like a filter. While balancing electrolyte levels, the kidneys maintain red blood cell production. The kidney infections can be caused by an inconsistent diet, a congenital disease, or contaminated water. Make sure that your dog maintains a strict diet, gets regular check ups, and wash out your dog’s water bowl everyday. In order to maintain a healthy system within your dogs body, you must follow several of the following tips.

1. Location: First and foremost you must know the location of your dog’s kidneys. Each dog has two kidney bean shaped kidneys on either side of their spine. Keep an out for any potential swelling, abrasions, or lesions in that specific area.

2. Urine Samples: Once every two months obtain a urine sample from you dog. Take this sample and have you local veterinary run tests for the correct nutrients, anti bodies, and the hopefully non existent infections. If you know how to take a sample, make sure you place it in a cool, dry, container.

3. Belly Test: If your dog has any sort of kidney infection he/she will feel immense pain around the area of his/her lower stomach. In order to test this, one must lightly massage the lower stomach area, and note any flinching or slight irritation in the dogs demeanor.

4. Sick Dog: Keep a close eye on your dog if he/she has vomited. Although it could have only been the result of a faulty food, a choke, or eating to quickly, it could also be the result a kidney infection. If this action of vomit becomes constant, your dog could suffer from dehydration, making him/her more likely to suffer an infection.

5. Temperature: In a average week you should take your dogs temperature once a week. If not know how to take your dog’s temperature or what it should be, consult your local veterinarian. A normal temperature is between 100.5 and 102.5 degrees. If you happen to take the temperature through the ear instead of the rectum, the temperature should range from 100.0 and 103.0.

6. Water Intake: If your dog has an abnormal increase in their appetite for water, it could be a sign of dehydration. When a dog dehydrates, it has lost the ability to maintain nutrients and flush out germs, rendering it open to infections.

7. Monitor Habits: The greatest sign a dog gives off during a kidney infection is constant urination. Monitor your dog’s urinary habits. If your dog happens to suffer from an infection, he/she will only urinate a bit and strain to do so.

There are many types of yeast infections. In addition to oral candidiasis or thrush, the individual may develop another type of infection. Some of the more common types of candidiasis include angular cheilitis, vulvovaginitis and candidal intertrigo. A yeast infection
can be located in the area normally covered by an infant’s diaper. Candidiasis can occur in newborns due to contact with the fungus in the birth canal. Candida can be found in the nail fold, in the anal area, between the fingers or on any mucous membrane. Yeast growth also tends to be a secondary complication when the helpful bacteria in the system are killed off by antibacterial agents.

Causes of Yeast Infections

Yeast infections are caused when the normal levels of candida yeasts increase disproportionately because the human immune system is unable to restrain growth. Studies have found the presence of C. albicans in apparently healthy women at levels of 1 in 5 females. Women who use external douches can create a condition that reduces the population of lactic acid bacteria, thus allowing candida cells to multiply profusely. Symptoms of the infection include inflammation and itching. Pregnancy, oral contraceptives, lubricants containing glycerin may affect the levels of candida. There may be a relationship between a yeast infection and diabetes mellitus.

An infection due to parasites is not uncommon in the Western world, although many people do not think of parasites in connection with a modern lifestyle. Parasitic infections such as worms are common in pets, and are routinely treated by veterinarians. However, humans get parasites too. A flea bite from Rover’s flea infestation is a type of human infection. Parasites that thrive inside the body are called endoparasites. An example is hookworms. Parasites may be merely irritating to the human host, or may cause serious illness or impairment. Parasites may be highly specialized as to where they can exist, or may be more general in nature.

Infections are spread by eating infected food, in feces or from touching surfaces where the single-celled parasitic organisms are found. For pet owners, infection control involves de-worming dogs, cats or horses periodically both for the health of the pet and the health of the human owner. Some intestinal worms are spread from animal to human. The parasite can enter through a scrape or cut in the skin, creating localized infection as well as long-term health issues
