Symptoms of Yeast Infections

The symptoms of a yeast infection include discomfort and itching, redness and pain. Complications for some populations may result in severe discomfort or even fatalities. Vaginal infections are usually caused by candidiasis, which is also found on male genitalia. A yeast infection of the oral cavity is sometimes found in children between three and nine years of age and is known as thrush. It manifests as white patches within the mouth. Fortunately, thrush is not a common condition and is easily treatable.
